Empeiros Ltd provides specialist and bespoke services to the NHS, pharmaceutical companies, private healthcare providers and the education sector on medical mycology and related areas.

1. Training on diagnostic medical mycology and invasive fungal disease

We provide training on many aspects of medical mycology, including diagnosis and management of invasive fungal disease (IFD), antifungals and fungal identification. We run highly successful hands-on laboratory-based practical courses to provide training on diagnostic medical mycology and fungal identification aimed at staff within the NHS and academia.

We also have extensive experience of  developing bespoke mycology training for in-person, hybrid or virtual delivery that covers invasive fungal diseases, risk factors and populations at risk, diagnosis and management of IFD, antifungal use and resistance, and clinical trial data on existing and new antifungals.  In addition to in-person courses, we have written online courses on diagnostic medical mycology and clinical mycology cases.

2. Scientific writing

We are experienced scientific writers and are familiar with writing scientific papers (see Publications), scientific narratives, meeting reports, advisory board reports and scientific presentations suitable for conference delivery.  In addition, we are also experienced in writing copy for websites and information for the public.

3. Project management and service delivery

We have a proven track record of delivering complex projects to an excellent standard for a range of clients often to short deadlines. This includes delivery of advisory boards, development of global training curricula, online learning material, websites and accreditation projects.

4. Consultancy services

We provide consultancy services to major pharmaceutical companies and other organisations on a range of topics including clinical mycology, invasive fungal disease, diagnostics and antifungals.
